(Financial Times) --
MF Global’s UK administrator may be able to double payouts to customers and make its first payments to creditors following a three-way settlement agreed by the trustees of the failed US futures broker’s estate.
KPMG said on Tuesday it would be able to lift payments to customers with segregated accounts to around 60 cents in the dollar, compared with its initial forecast of 26 cents, should the agreement receive US court approval and two parties withdrew legal claims against MF Global UK.
